Kids Camp

Our mission as a mission network is to “Shore to Shore Mission Network serves to connect people and resources in our community with developing communities worldwide in order to improve the physical, economic, and spiritual conditions. By collaborating with partner communities we aim to bring about sustainable change and a healthier standard of living to those we serve.” This past month, there was a kids camp held within a nearby community.

This is what went on:

The Wolof children’s camp is one of the highlights of the ministry each year as we have the opportunity to pour into the live of about 70 children who have so few opportunities to hear the gospel and to grow spiritually. This year’s theme is the life of Samson. Each day the children will learn about his life and how God worked through him. There is also an evangelistic teaching each evening on the theme of “The Good News”. In addition to the teachings the children have an opportunity to do arts and crafts, games and sports and enjoy the waterfront campground. Every year we are amazed at the testimonies of how God uses this camp to touch the hearts of these children and we believe this year will be no different.

Community development is happening throughout the neighboring communities that we support! Such an exciting thing to see. The ripple effect is happening!
